Brackets

The bracket assembly consists of a bracket and lock down block. Each steel bracket consists of a vertical pipe member and a bracket body made of 1/2” (13 mm) structural steel sections cut to shape and welded together so that they form a chair or seat shape structure. The top side bracket gussets are placed to allow the bracket to be mounted via anchor bolts to the footing foundation.

The bottom side bracket gussets give strength to the seat of the bracket. The lock down block assembly fits inside the topmost end of the pier that terminates inside the bracket body, and connects to the bracket using thread rods, nuts and washers.
